SIMPLE. Bermuda prides itself on providing the highest standards of healthy food service to you, our partners and customers.

The quality and safety of your food supply — and your health — are at the forefront of everything we do here at SIMPLE.

One of the most important preventive measures for mitigating viral and food-borne illness while working with food is to wash hands with soap and water frequently, in-between the handling of raw and uncooked foods, and before handling any food. We are continuing to follow the recommendations as provided by various health agencies around the world, including the Bermuda Ministry of Health's most recent guidance. These include:

  • All food preparers must keep hands and arms clean, and follow cleaning procedures including washing at least 20 seconds with soap and water and rinsing under warm running water.

  • When to wash includes: after touching body parts; after using the restroom; after coughing, sneezing, or using tissues; after eating or drinking; after handling soiled equipment during food preparation; after handling raw food and working with ready to eat food; before donning gloves; and after any other activity that contaminates hands.

  • There is required to be at least one hand washing sink. Our handwashing sink, conveniently located for employees, has handwashing supplies such as hand soap and cleanser and drying devices such as paper towels.

  • Increased sanitizing & disinfecting of all frequently used surfaces & areas - these include food preparation utensils, food containers, faucets, door handles and other highly used devices.

As we always have, we will continue to utilize good handwashing and sanitization techniques, not only in our home but also in our workplace.

Your health and safety are our utmost concern. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at simplebda@gmail.com or via phone 232-2020.
